Komet's FS9UF (H135UF) is a facial surface trimming carbide bur. Matches 8859/FSD9F diamond series. FS9UF (H135UF) is a tapered cone, ultra-fine carbide (30 blades, white band) with a working length of 9 mm. Can also be used as a step 2 in a two-step composite finishing when using Q-Finishers® such as FS6Q (H134Q) tungsten carbide finishing bur. Other features and benefits include:
- Non-cutting tip minimizes tissue impingement and trauma
- Leaves a pre-polish finish
- No risk of creating edges on the restoration due to the blade and point design
This carbide shape is also available in the following configurations:
- Normal (8 blades/red): FS6 (H134) tungsten carbide
- Extra-fine (16 blades/yellow): FS9F (H135F)
- Normal (8 blades/red): FS9 (H135)
Indications for Use
Finishing anterior and posterior restorations; interproximal adjustments; trimming facial surfaces of composite filling materials; adhesive removal in orthodontic debonding procedures.
