Other features and benefits include:
- Sets hard and cuts like dentin
- Cures to 7 mm depth
- Stacks well, won't slump, and cuts easily
- Longer working time is great for cases with multiple posts and cores
- Convenient automix delivery
- Radiopaque to distinguish from tooth structure
- Three shades - A2 for anterior esthetic cases; White or A2 for ceramic restorations; and Blue for under PFMs

Dental Post Cementation and Core Build-Up with CosmeCore. Dr. Hartlieb shares a step-by-step process for post cementation and core build-up.
COSMECORE allows you to refine preps quickly and accurately, saving you valuable chair time. It is the only core build-up material that reaches full dentin hardness at 7mm, so it will not gouge or flake during prep.
"I developed CosmeCore because I did not like the way the other core build-up materials prepped. The other materials were too soft and gouged when prepped. CosmeCore will not gouge. The ability to build up a tooth without it slumping was also paramount in developing an ideal material. You can stack it around a post or into a prep without it slumping. The working time is ideal and you can add to it if you have any voids. It comes in three different shades which is important when doing metal vs. all ceramic crowns. The depth of cure is excellent and it is a dual-cure material. "
