Komet's 6844 is a two-grit, long tapered chamfer diamond used for veneer preparation.
Tthe long portion of the working length is coarse grit (green) and is used for roughening of facial surfaces. The tip is fine grit (red) and used for refining the margin area near the gingiva.
Dual grit prevents you from cutting too much material on the gingival margin.
