Nearly a decade ago, 3M introduced the first truly universal adhesive. Since then, 3M™ Scotchbond™ Universal Adhesive has been clinically proven and has become the industry’s most researched universal adhesive. Now, the next evolution is here: 3M Scotchbond Universal Plus Adhesive offers all the benefits of its predecessor with new levels of control and predictability.

3M Scotchbond Universal Plus Adhesive is the first radiopaque universal adhesive, minimizing the risk of X-ray misdiagnosis and invasive overtreatment. It provides gold standard adhesion to all dental substrates, including glass-ceramic, without the need for a separate primer, silane or activator.

3M Scotchbond Universal Plus Adhesive supports minimally invasive dentistry by bonding and sealing caries affected dentine. The new formulation is free of BPA derivatives like BisGMA, and there is virtually no post-operative sensitivity. Together with 3M RelyX Universal Resin Cement it forms a fully aligned system, offering excellent bond strength for virtually all dual-cure resin cement indications. Added radiopacity

Radiolucency under an existing restoration can lead to misdiagnosis – and potentially invasive overtreatment. Scotchbond Universal Plus Adhesive is the first universal adhesive with dentin-like radiopacity, helping to overcome this issue.

Bonds & seals caries-affected dentin

Scotchbond Universal Plus Adhesive gives you confidence when performing minimally invasive preparations because it has the same high bond strength to caries-affected dentin as to sound dentin.
