Crown Removal Burs

For clean, precise, and fast crown removal it is important to choose the appropriate bur. For most clinicians, it is easier and more effective to have an assortment of tools at the ready for every material they’ll encounter: non-precious metals, precious metals or all-ceramic restorations. For example, for extremely strong metals and PFM crowns, choose H4MCL or H4MCXL whose special toothing geometry with pyramid-shaped blades and large chip spaces makes them ideal for mastering the hardest of metal crowns. Sharp, freestanding blades of H35L work perfectly on metal crowns that are less hard than PFM. For cutting bonded all-ceramic crowns, use diamond burs with a special diamond bond for superior substance removal such as 4ZR and 4ZRS.
