ZR6379 is an egg-shaped coarse (green) diamond for gross contouring and occlusal adjustment of all ceramics, including zirconia and lithium disilicate.

This ZR egg-shaped diamond is also available in the following grits:

  • Fine grit (Red) - ZR8379 produces a nice, smooth surface
  • Medium grit (Blue) - ZR379 is minimally abrasive, making them especially suited for smaller adjustments

Alternative options to the ZR6379 include:

  • Coarse (Green) grit pointed cone-shape ZR diamond ZR6274
  • Coarse (Green) grit modified shoulder shape ZR diamond ZR6830L

  3. For cutting adhesive bonded, all-ceramic crowns, we recommend Jackie (4ZRS). This instrument has to be applied at an angle of 45° to the crown.

  4. Particularly in the case of ahesively bonded all-ceramic restorations, the separation joint should also encompass the incisal edge or the axial wall, respectively the occlusal surface in the lateral tooth area.

  5. To remove the restoration, it has to be widened until it fractures. This can be performed with a lever or a Plaert crown widening pliers.
