Komet® H1 Round Tungsten Carbide Operative Bur

H1 tungsten carbide is a round shaped bur ideal for oral surgery and cavity preparation. One of the most popular dental burs.

The H1 can be used on the following:

• Cutting and excavating tooth structure.
• Removal of material to provide a smoother surface.

The H1 carbide matches the 801 round diamond preparation bur.

H1 is recommended as a part of the following Cavity Preparation Procedure:

1. Open the central groove with a carbide, like H31, H7 or H245 or a diamond, like 801 or 6835.
2. Remove the decayed dentin with an H1, H1SE or CeraBur.
3. Complete the filing.
4. Shape the filling with the H246, H379 or a Facial Surface Trimming carbide: H132.
5. Lastly, use a flame- or cup-shaped pre-polisher and a flame- or cup-shaped high-shine polisher.
